The Dutchman Patrick van den Broek (48) has been coming to Curacao frequently for over 20 years: “From the moment I first set foot on the island I felt at home. I like the climate, the atmosphere and the people. Perfect for my hobbies: diving, fishing and boating. I kept coming back to the island because I loved it: “It’s wonderful to be here on Curacao: the weather is always good, everyone is relaxed and nature is beautiful around here.” Patrick liked the island so much that he sold the bar business in Sambeek, a little town in the southern province of the Netherlands called Brabant, so he could start all over again on Curacao.
